Parental involvement is one of the core aspects of the Benjamin Franklin Elementary Schools. This parental involvement is what aids to higher educational performance and growth for the students. Franklin parents are REQUIRED to Pay a $25 Family Donation and serve on TWO Committees to support the school. Below you will find detailed descriptions of the committees to help you choose ones that will fit with your family’s availability. PLEASE PROVIDE AN EMAIL ADDRESS THAT IS FREQUENTLY CHECKED AND A CELL PHONE NUMBER THAT CAN RECEIVE TEXTS AS THESE ARE THE PRIMARY MEANS OF COMMUNICATION FROM THE FPO (Franklin Parent Organization).

Please select 2 committees from the ones listed below. Please choose only one donation item and one volunteer committee to allow other families with challenging schedules the opportunity to donate items also. We are often short handed at events and really need the in person help. Volunteering to support these committees is a pillar of the Franklin Philosophy. All parents are required to participate on school committees to ensure the smooth ongoing operation of the school as written in the Parent Handbook.

If you would like to opt-out from either 1 or both of your required committees please select these items from the store on the website www.franklineastfpo.org. If you opt-out of 1 committee you will still need to select one other committee from this list. If you need to pay in cash or check, you will need to attend the in person Orientation August 4th from 3:30pm-5:30pm in the multi-purpose room.

TEACHER ASSIGNMENTS WILL NOT BE GIVEN OUT UNTIL ORIENTATION PROCESS HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND YOU HAVE PAY YOUR FAMILY DONATION & SIGN UP OR OPT FOR COMMITTES!
